Selected reviews · Checked September 29, 2026. Two BBB complaints and one BBB review, drawn from Milestone's main BBB profile and its Garland location profile (the Dallas, Irving, Plano and Heath profiles had no water heater accounts). A 2023 complaint that mixes a water heater venting issue with an HVAC warranty dispute is not included. Milestone's own reviews page showed only aggregate counts. BBB complaint

Customer name withheld · January 20, 2026 · Answered

The customer said a water heater Milestone replaced was not up to city code because no expansion tank was installed, and that they were not told one was needed.

Company reply and outcome: Milestone said the install had passed city approval and that a pressure reducing valve the prior setup did not reveal was found later; it offered to quote the expansion tank separately and declined to refund the customer's cost of having another plumber do it. The customer rejected the responses, most recently on February 17, 2026.
