The reviewer said that after Frymire installed two water heaters, a service visit under the one-year guarantee led to a gas smell; Frymire found and fixed an outside leak for around $1,000, but another plumber later found the inside leak (a loose connection) for $150. The reviewer said Frymire refunded 50% although a manager had indicated a full refund.

Company reply and outcome: Frymire said safety is its priority, that its team investigated the reported concern and performed authorized work, and that it worked with the customer afterward.
