Expansion tank, pipe insulation and garage rules

The handout requires an expansion tank on closed plumbing systems and insulation on every hot water pipe. In garages, gas appliances must be 18 inches off the floor, and a steel or concrete post is required if the heater sits in front of a parking spot.
