What the reviews say

Water heater replacement & service

Water heater feedback

Yelp reviewers praised quick response, same-day or next-day water heater replacement, and a technician willing to repair an 11-year-old tankless unit.

Worth knowing about their water heater work

BBB complainants disputed a water heater replacement price paid under emergency conditions and a $2,000 deposit largely kept after a verbally cancelled water heater job (Beacon said its contract terms, including written cancellation, were clearly stated), and a Yelp reviewer called $5,700 for a 50-gallon gas tank double what he expected.

BBB complaint

Customer name withheld · 05/13/2026

Senior customers said they needed the lowest-cost option for a leaking water heater, were charged far more than later bids of $2,000-$3,000 less, and that follow-up on a promised price review stalled.

Company reply and outcome: Status Answered; Beacon said it had reached out about a proposed resolution and that its contract terms are clearly spelled out. The customer rejected the response.
