PERMITS & LICENSING
Permits and licenses in Paradise.
Permits and who issues them
With no city government in Paradise, Clark County Building & Fire Prevention issues the permit. The County treats a home water heater replacement as a 'Simple Online Permit' (one item, no plans) through its Citizen Access Portal. A County inspector checks the work afterward.
On top of the state license, contractors and subs need an active Southern Nevada business license that works across the valley. Clark County, Las Vegas, Henderson or North Las Vegas can issue it.
