What the reviews say
Water heater replacement & service
Reviewers praised a well-done gas water heater installation and a technician who caught water heater corrosion during routine maintenance.
A 2025 BBB complaint alleged a water heater and drain-pan install that was never tested and later let water leak into a neighbor's unit, and that Superior charged a $100 visit fee and would not correct it; Superior responded that the work was permitted, passed inspection, excluded the existing drain system, and that the overflow came from equipment it never serviced (listed as Answered).

BBB complaint
Customer name withheld · 08/12/2025
A condo buyer said Superior had replaced the water heater and drain pan for the previous owner without testing the drain, that water later overflowed into the pan and down into a neighbor's unit, and that Superior charged a $100 visit fee and then declined to correct the installation.
Company reply and outcome: Superior said the prior owner hired it for a customer-supplied heater and custom pan connected to the existing drain with no guarantee on that drain, that the permit passed inspection with no deficiencies, and that the overflow likely came from another appliance it never serviced. BBB lists the complaint as Answered.
