Yes. Plumbers, drainlayers, electricians and HVAC contractors need a city license for July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. That takes a $10,000 bond in the city's favor, at least $500,000 in liability insurance, a paid St. Charles County personal property tax receipt and proof of testing (St. Charles County license or ICC test). The plumber license is $60 for two years.
