What the reviews say

Water heater feedback Reviewers praised a well-done gas water heater installation and a technician who caught water heater corrosion during routine maintenance.

Worth knowing A 2025 BBB complaint alleged a water heater and drain-pan install that was never tested and later let water leak into a neighbor's unit, and that Superior charged a $100 visit fee and would not correct it; Superior responded that the work was permitted, passed inspection, excluded the existing drain system, and that the overflow came from equipment it never serviced (listed as Answered).

LOCAL CONDITIONS

What’s different in Town and Country.

No occupancy permit when a home is resold

The city says home occupancy permits aren't required when new owners or renters move into an existing home, only before anyone first moves into a new house. Nothing at closing makes the city look at an existing water heater.

Town and Country: Occupancy Permits ↗

Check with subdivision trustees before exterior changes

Town and Country's permit checklist asks whether you've contacted your subdivision trustees about plans that change the outside of a home. Switching to a tankless or power-vent heater that needs a new vent through a side wall or roof is the kind of change to clear with trustees first. The city's quick reference also shows a local preference for keeping visible vents off the front of homes: direct-vent gas fireplaces are allowed only at the back, where the vent matches or blends with the roof or siding.
