A Pinellas County customer complained to BBB (2024) that a 2023 water heater install lacked the required permit; after the complaint the company pulled the permit and the customer reported a passed final inspection. Another BBB complainant (2024) said a tankless repair was delayed for weeks; the company replaced the unit and the customer accepted the resolution.

The customer said a tankless water heater the company installed about three years earlier stopped working; a technician said the flow sensor needed replacing, but the customer said the promised return dates passed for more than two weeks with conflicting explanations about the part.

The customer said Pinellas County told them the water heater Cool Today installed in January 2023 required a permit, and that the company repeatedly said no permit was needed and did not return calls.
Company reply and outcome: After initially rejecting the company's responses, the customer reported receiving the permit, that the work was redone and the final inspection passed, and thanked a staff member. BBB status: Resolved.
