The customer said he accepted a $4,428 water heater quote with 0% financing for 12 months, the unit was installed, and the company then tried to set up financing on terms he never agreed to and threatened a lien.
Company reply and outcome: Scott Hale said a technician found the tank leaking with no repair option, the customer accepted the estimate by phone and email with a card on file, the card was declined twice after installation, and the customer had not paid.
Ask before booking: If financing a water heater, ask to have the financing approved and terms signed before installation begins.
