A BBB reviewer said they were charged $1,300 for about two hours of work including $450 to flush the water heater; a Yelp reviewer who had a tankless installed by Cal's six years earlier cancelled a later service call after a false arrival text and delay.

The reviewer said they were charged $1,300 for two hours of work, four valves and two flex lines, including $450 just to flush the water heater tank, and called it an extreme overcharge.

The reviewer said an on-call plumber came within an hour on a weekend when the water heater leaked, helped drain it, called a restoration crew, and a new water heater was installed within two days at a reasonable price.

The reviewer said Cal's did a great job installing a tankless water heater six years earlier, but on a later visit for the scale filter a text said the plumber had arrived when he had not, and they cancelled after further delay.
