Water heater replacement & service

Water heater feedback

Reviewers praised easy scheduling, same-day replacement and prices they described as fair.

Worth knowing about their water heater work

A BBB complainant said a 2021 water heater install never kept water hot and tripped the breaker (Fischer said it provides a 1-year parts and labor warranty and cannot be responsible for home electrical; it refunded a service call fee), and a 2009 Yelp reviewer said the installer tried to raise a $900 quote to over $1,500.

BBB complaint

Customer name withheld · 03/04/2025

The customer said an electric water heater installed in February 2021 did not keep water hot and repeatedly tripped the breaker, and that Fischer blamed her electrical system rather than replacing the tank.

Company reply and outcome: Status Answered; Fischer said it gives a 1-year parts and labor warranty, the tank has a 6-year factory warranty, and it cannot be responsible for home electrical; the customer rejected the response and said only a service call fee was refunded.

Ask before booking: What does your written quote include (straps, disposal, code items), and how long is your own labor warranty versus the manufacturer's tank warranty?
