What the reviews say
Water heater replacement & service
BBB reviewers praised same-day tank replacement, a professional emergency repair on an attic electric water heater, and a quick fix after a drain-and-refill service.
Two customers described Navien tankless installs with leaks, gas-line problems and failed inspections. Beyond Wow said it fixed the gas leak at its own cost and worked with Austin inspectors (answered, not resolved). In the other case it acknowledged installation and communication failures and offered a resolution.

BBB complaint
Customer name withheld · 11/25/2025 · Answered
The customer said a job replacing tank water heaters with one tankless unit left carpet stains and a gas leak in the attic for three weeks, failed three city inspections, and used an extension cord for power.
Company reply and outcome: On 12/02/2025 Beyond Wow said the Navien project was more complicated than expected. It said it found and repaired a leak at a gas flex-line joint, cleaned the carpet professionally at its expense, worked with City of Austin inspectors and absorbed remediation costs.
