Worth knowing about their water heater work

In a September 2026 BBB review, a customer said a water heater installed August 21, 2026 needed four return visits for the same loss of hot water; no business reply was shown. In a resolved BBB complaint, a customer described a late, rude installer and property damage. Plumbline offered to remove the unit and refund, and the customer accepted.

The reviewer said a new water heater installed on August 21, 2026 stopped producing hot water and a technician had to return four times for the same problem, most recently September 1. He said he should receive a full refund.

The customer said she bought a water heater elsewhere for $2,500 and hired Plumbline to install it. She said the technician arrived about six hours late, was rude, damaged property, drained the old heater into a flower bed and left a pipe in the yard.

Company reply and outcome: Plumbline said it had left several unreturned messages and later offered to remove the unit and refund as the customer requested. After rejecting two earlier responses, the customer accepted the resolution on January 14, 2026.
