About your heater.

We filled in what we could from your photo. Check it and fix anything that’s wrong.

Not sure? Choose “Not sure” and keep going.

Landlords usually handle water heater replacement. You can still get quotes to share with yours.

What’s wrong with it?

If water is spreading, turn off the cold-water valve on the pipe above the heater. If you’re not sure how, call a plumber now. We don’t do emergency repairs.

When do you need it replaced?

If you smell gas, leave the house and call your gas company or 911.

We’ll get you quotes.

We’ll ask a few local companies to price your job and send you their quotes to choose from. Free, and you don’t have to pick any of them.

Ember & Tank may send my photos, heater details, notes and ZIP code to local water heater companies to ask for a price. My name, email and phone are not sent.
